Hi, I’m Neil, a Senior Product Designer who leverages his curiosity into intuitive, user friendly experiences that delight. Currently I work on the iRobot mobile app. I have a BFA of Industrial Design and have had internships at MassMutual and Epam Systems. In my spare time I love going to art museums, running, and recommending things to my friends.

A few of my favorites:

Book for design inspiration

Website if you are ever in a creative rut

Video if you admire marathon runners

Documentary if you love libraries as much as I do

Cook Book if you are on the lookout for new pasta sauces

Podcast with something great for everyone

iRobot:

I support the app that pairs with the Roomba robotic vacuum, a leader in the robotic floor care space. As a product designer on the mobile app team I work as a “jack of all trades” from designing new feature interfaces to diving into the details of a complex error troubleshooting experience. Currently, I am building experiences around new products and user retention.

In Good Company:

In Good Company is a MassMutual innovation team focusing on developing financial wellness classes for employers. As a designer on this team, I created activities that made complex financial concepts easy for our students to understand. I also supported the business by crafting animations, digital publications, and marketing materials that beat industry standards for engagement (27.5% engagement against a 0.3% Financial industry average).

Epam Continuum:

Epam Continuum is a full service innovation consulting firm based in Boston. They are known for developing innovative products like the Swiffer and the Reebok Instapump. I worked as an Envisioner, a role which blends the skill set of a researcher and designer. Here, I conducted qualitative user interviews, built research stimulus, and created illustrations to help share the stories behind our insights.
